Kama Umoja Incorporated is a grassroots association created to drive gender equality and access to football to women and girls from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities in Australia.
Following the transformative FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ co-hosted in Australia, Kama Umoja Inc. is dedicated to serving as a catalyst organisation that works to challenge gender stereotypes, tackle barriers to participation and leverage the potential of football so women and girls from CALD communities can have opportunities to progress and thrive.
This is through the pillars of participation, education, empowerment and inspiration.
Embedded in and coming from CALD communities, the founders of Kama Umoja Inc. have the lived experience to action and create a different tomorrow for the next generation.
